Fuel Tanks

With fuel still being the number one source of energy and power for any vehicle to move, the fuel tank continues to stay as a vital part of every vehicle. The fuel tank is that part of the engine system where the fuel is stored and released to the engine whenever needed. Fuel tanks for vehicles vary in size, shape and complexity, depending on the type of vehicle, its body structure, its engine position, the type of fuel to be used, the complexity of the engine system and others. Because of there location, fuel tanks are prone to failure from damage, such as “high centering” or from corrosion from road salts.
